Dear Readers — for the last few months we have been publishing the Karnatz Korner, in which we have tried to predict in advance the inkredible Karnatz akkomplishments.  This month, we turn to retrospective acknowledgements.  Sarah, our ever-engaging Director of Engagements, pulled off two biggies just as summer drew us out of hibernation.

In addition to all of the “routine” events, we had the GREAT BIG SUMMER PARTY on June 24th.  Food.  Music.  Food.  Beverages.  Food.  And lots of seats in shady spots to enjoy the Food, Beverages, Food, Music — but you get the idea.

Did we have fun?  Take a look below.

Was that enough?  NO WAY!  July 2nd was the Rods & Rides Classic Car Show –with a special tip of the Complementary hat to Jim Collier for his sponsorship.

Residents were treated to views of machinery older than they are, and laden with nostalgia and and admiration.  Not to mention the beer and BBQ.  That woman sure knows how to keep seniors happy.

Chief mechanic Sarah circulated in her golf cart and commemorative T-shirt, overseeing the festivities and prizes, while resident volunteers staffed the hand-out and take-in tables.  Take another look below.

AND, the behind the scenes was the key ingredient — the Divine Ms. K has placated the weather gods and both events came off in perfect summer weather.  Which is a good thing, because all of those vehicles would have really crowded the Auditorium stage.

YAY SARAH!  Thank you and keep it up!
