How to Create Anchor Links in Advance Editor

The anchor link will scroll down to the top of a Color Section

  • In Advance Editor add any number of Color Sections
    • The simplest layout would have Text Blocks in each color section but you could also put in Columns with any other type of Content Element or Media Element in the columns
  • Add the Anchor to the Color Section you want to scroll to
    • Hover over the top bar of the section that you want to scroll down to (anchor to)
    • Click the edit icon
    • Click Advanced
    • Open Developer settings and type or paste the anchor into Custom ID Attribute
    • Click Save
  • Add a Full Width Submenu to the top of the page
    • Open the Full Width Submenu element
    • Under Content choose “Build simple custom menu”
    • Click Menu Item 1 or Menu Item 2 to edit
    • Under Content, type in the name of the menu item as it should show on the page
    • Under Advance, choose Set Manually and type or paste in the anchor with the # in front of it. Example: “#test-anchor-link”
    • Save the menu item then save the menu
    • Save the page and test
    • You can add new menu items, copy the last menu item and edit it, delete menu items, and drag and drop to reorder.
